Data Analyst / Data Scientist (Remote)
Job Purpose:
The Data Analyst / Data Scientist delivers analytical solutions using programming, data-mining, statistics, machine-learning and visualization techniques.
Duties and responsibilities:
- Understanding complex analytic issues through discussion with operational staff
- Constructing analytic datasets using SQL
- Building and deploying machine learning models
- Communicating findings through presentations and dashboards
- The Data Scientist writes clean, performant, reusable code to perform to train and deploy models in cloud and on-prem environments
Qualifications:
- Minimum 2-4 years of professional experience in healthcare or pharmaceutical industries working with electronic medical record data.
- Experience programming at an intermediate to advanced skill level with a high-level programming language such as R or Python.
- Experience programming at a basic to intermediate proficiency level in SQL.
- Demonstrated ability to express complex analytical and technical information.
- Demonstrated problem solving, analytical reasoning and decision-making skills.
- Strong understanding and experience in researching and resolving data issues with a logical, instinctive, and problem-solving mentality working with large, complex and incomplete sources.
- Exhibit strong project management skills and experience working independently on multiple projects with competing priorities and a strong commitment to meeting goals and deadlines.
- Experience in healthcare machine learning is preferred.

Requirements:
- Must currently reside in the United States and does not reside in one of the following states: WA, ND, OH, WY, CA.
- Strong internet connection (At least 25 Mbps download 10 Mbps upload).
- Experience with multitasking, able to handle upset customers, able to problem solve and provide timely updates.
- Experience working in a remote or hybrid setting – self-sufficient.
- Capable of following a script verbatim while sounding conversational.
- Active listening skills and great communication.
- Attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Capable of passing a background check.
- Laptop, Chromebook, or desktop computer running Windows 10 or higher (Macs, Netbooks, Tablets, and Smart Phones are not supported).
- 2GHz processor, or better.
- Your own USB headset with a microphone that plugs into your computer.
Responsibilities:
- Must exceed call requirements to guarantee a minimum pay.
- Utilize MS Teams, call center software, and cloud-based software for day-to-day tasks.
- Execute a high volume of call attempts daily.

Key Responsibilities:
Team Leadership & Coaching:
- Lead and support a team of GoodStarters, fostering connection, consistency, and compassion.
- Coach team members through call reviews, QA feedback, and regular performance check-ins.
- Deliver training and support via mock calls, shadowing, and ongoing coaching.
- Cultivate relationships through monthly team meetings and regular communication on Microsoft Teams.
- Support company culture by engaging with your team and fostering a positive, purpose-driven environment.
Operational Coverage & Support:
- Maintain and manage schedule and channel/chat coverage for your team
- Support inbound call line and voicemails, escalating patient concerns related to the GoodStart program as needed.
- Monitor team performance through metrics and follow up on atypical behaviors.
- Participate in company meetings and contribute insights from the field.
Project Support & Special Initiatives:
- Make outbound calls for special projects, contract clean-up, or product-specific campaigns
- Actively collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive improvements in service quality and program delivery.
Qualifications:
– High school Diploma or GED
– 2+ years of experience in coaching, team leadership, or training within a customer service, call center, healthcare, or support environment.
– Strong communication skills—both written and verbal—with a talent for empathetic feedback.
– Experience using performance metrics and QA tools to drive quality improvement.
– Comfortable with virtual work environments and tools (e.g., Microsoft Teams, Zoom, chat support platforms).
– Passion for supporting others, maintaining team morale, and promoting a positive culture.

Job Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Quality Assurance Coordinator/Analyst to join our team. This role is responsible for ensuring that departmental policies, procedures, and testing requirements are consistently followed. The QA Coordinator/Analyst plays a key role in maintaining program quality by conducting thorough reviews, identifying process gaps, and ensuring adherence to standards.
The ideal candidate is a persistent problem solver with a strong eye for detail, capable of thriving in a fast-paced environment while meeting deadlines. This role involves collaborating closely with business owners, developers, and project teams to validate processes and uncover systemic issues within the review scope. A passion for delivering high-quality outcomes and a commitment to continuous improvement are essential for success in this role.
Key Responsibilities
- Audit GoodStarters’ inbound and outbound phone calls and/or written correspondence to ensure adherence to quality standards, policies, and procedures.
- Provide objective, constructive feedback based on audits to support performance improvements and operational excellence.
- Monitor and support the rollout of new programs, processes, and updates by identifying training needs or gaps.
- Collaborate proactively with business owners to resolve potential issues and ensure timely feedback is provided for corrective action.
- Act as a subject matter expert (SME) on Pleio’s software systems, processes, and data from the end-user perspective.
- Coordinate system testing in QA, Staging, and Production environments to verify functionality, accuracy, and compliance with business requirements.
- Validate that business, functional, and technical requirements are aligned and properly implemented across all stakeholders.
- Participate in the development, review, and annual updates of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and organizational policies.
- Assist in conducting monthly internal QA audits and reporting key QA metrics and KPIs.
- Create and maintain QA-related documentation, reports, and summaries for leadership and operational teams.
- Analyze audit results and provide actionable recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Identify patterns or trends in errors to recommend process changes or additional training.
- Maintain working knowledge of HIPAA and privacy regulations to ensure compliance in all QA functions.
- Provide support for ad-hoc projects and other QA-related tasks as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred (Quality, Healthcare, Business, or related field).
- Healthcare industry experience preferred.
- 3-5 years of experience in Quality Assurance, call center quality monitoring, operations auditing, or a similar role.
- Proven ability to review, analyze, and interpret data with keen attention to detail.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure with minimal supervision.
- Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills; able to deliver constructive feedback effectively.
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint).
- Ability to quickly learn and adapt to proprietary software, tools, and platforms.
- Working knowledge of call center operations, quality monitoring tools, and processes is a plus.
- Familiarity with testing methodologies, system validation, and bug tracking is a plus.
- Strong time management skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Commitment to confidentiality and sensitivity when handling protected health information (PHI) and other confidential data.
