Collecting and Using Personally Identifiable Information (“PII”).
Pleio will not collect PII from you unless you provide us that information voluntarily. By “personally identifiable information,”” we mean data that is unique to an individual, such as a name, address or telephone number. If you choose to disclose PII to us via this Website, we will use and disclose it for the purpose for which you disclosed it to us, which may include disclosure to third parties who assist us in fulfilling that purpose. In addition, we may disclose PII to third parties if required by law, such as pursuant to a subpoena, regulatory oversight, or other legal process. In all cases, we will disclose PII in accordance with applicable laws and regulations and we will require the recipients to protect the information and use it only for the purpose it was provided to them.
You can update the PII that you provide to us by writing to us at the address provided below, or, if you have a personal profile with us, by updating that profile online.
Except in connection with the sale, transfer, merger, consolidation or other transaction involving all or part of our company, we will not sell, license or otherwise transfer any rights to your PII to any third party unless you give us your express permission to do so.

Collecting and Using Non-Personally Identifiable Information (“NPII”)
You should also be aware that when you visit our Website, we may collect certain non-personally-identifiable and aggregate information about you. By “non-personally-identifiable information”, we mean information that does not identify you personally, but provides us with anonymous “usage data,” such as the number of unique visitors we receive, what pages are visited most often and the navigation preferences and characteristics of our visitors. These are the types of NPII we may collect:
- Browser data. Web browsers collect and store information about the hardware and software you are using to access to our Website. We use this information to establish and maintain your connection to our Website during your visit.
- Cookies. By assigning and transmitting a unique data element to each visitor to our Website, we are able to track unique visitors and usage and navigation patterns over time. This helps us to improve the usefulness of our site. The cookie does not extract PII about you and we do not attempt to associate cookies with identifiable individuals.
Pleio does not serve advertising on Pleio.com and we do not track your Internet activity once you leave our site. Pleio.com does not respond to “Do Not Track” signals from browser.
